"LaBada Bing!" For the Win at LaBonne's

Woodbury, CT - On Friday, June 12th, LaBonne’s Markets will be launching a collaborative ice cream with The Big Dipper Ice Cream, called “LaBada Bing!”

LaBada Bing! is a vanilla ice cream with dark chocolate chunks and bing cherries. The flavor is LaBonne's take on Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia.

The ice cream was created and voted on by the social media followers of LaBonne's Markets. A month ago, the market invited their followers to toss ice cream flavor suggestions their way on their Facebook page. After a week, workers at LaBonne's picked their favorites, put together a poll, and had their followers vote for the winning flavor.

"It was a very tight race, but LaBada Bing! edged out to take the lead," reports the business' marketing director Jared Andrews.

Since then, they have been working hard in collaboration with Harry and the rest of staff of The Big Dipper in Prospect on producing the best quality ice cream possible. "After a few weeks of taste tests and label reimagining, they have put together a product we can proud of," reports Mr. Andrews.

The ice cream will be out on all four of LaBonne's store shelves on Friday, June 12. With the recent purchasing of the Prospect location, the new owners really wanted to do something fun with a Prospect landmark.

"Its been an absolute pleasure working with The Big Dipper," adds Mr. Andrews.
