BRISTOL, CT – Lake Compounce is on the hunt for a few good ghouls to bring the “BOO” to its all-new Halloween event, Phantom Fall Fest.

Phantom Fall Fest will be the biggest and boldest Halloween offering in the history of America’s First Amusement Park. The day to night experience allows guests to play all day with family-friendly rides and activities, then transforms into a house of horrors at 6:00 p.m. for those brave enough to fright all night with walk-through haunts and the park’s most scream-inducing attractions.

Lake Compounce is hiring now for roughly 150 scare actors, makeup artists and costumers to bring Phantom Fall Fest to life. The park will host its first round of auditions on Wednesday, August 3 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. followed by a second round on Saturday, August 13 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Attendees can audition for acting positions, or apply for other roles including Rides, Food & Beverage, makeup artists and more.

“As we get ready for our first-ever Phantom Fall Fest, we’re increasing pay rates for scare actors to as much as $16 per hour to form the most terrifically terrifying team,” says General Manager Jeffery Davis. “Increased pay combines with free meal perks and tickets options we offer for seasonal Lake Compounce staff to make this a great place to work – not just in fall, but all year round.”

Those interested in joining the team for spooky fun this fall can join the park for its first job fair of the season or apply online now at LakeCompounce.com/Employment. No previous experience is required.

The new Phantom Fall Fest offers entertainment the whole family can enjoy! Younger guests are invited to the park for family fall fun, fall themed foods, rides in Circus World and more during the daylight hours. Then, once the sun goes down, guests should prepare for scares beyond their wildest screams. As the sun goes down, the scare actors come out and the parks four haunted houses and three scare zones will open for hair-raising haunts.

Phantom Fall Fest opens for the season on Friday, September 30 and runs through Sunday, October 30.
