Larry Erickson will be honored at the Naugatuck Rotary Club Annual Foundation Dinner as this year’s recipient of the Paul Harris Award.

Rotarians promote and foster high ethical standards in business and professions and promote the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations. Each year Rotary presents an award to someone in the community who has exemplified outstanding professional achievement while maintaining very high ethical standards.
Larry was born in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Connecticut in 1993. Larry and his family became owners of Jesse Camille’s in 1996.
As a business man of the borough, Larry is known as a leader and committed to giving back to the town. Larry has taken an active role in the Camille Perugini Trust Fund, raising $177,000 for local area children since it was first formed.
He has coached hockey for Watertown Youth and for the last five years, Larry has served as President of the organization. Larry has also coached baseball and soccer in Prospect, as well as lacrosse in Wolcott.
As a proud businessman of Naugatuck, Larry can always be counted on to get involved in the community and strives to improve the quality of life in Naugatuck. Larry hosts numerous charity events for the benefit of local agencies and organizations and can be counted on to donate monies and gift certificates for fund raising events. Among those he has worked with are Naugatuck Football, Historical Society and the YMCA. He also assisted the Naugatuck police through the “tip a cop” events. He is a member of the Naugatuck Exchange Club.
When Larry was notified that he would be this year’s recipient of the Paul Harris award, he stated that he was very honored and humbled by this award. He then stated that Naugatuck has been very good to him. The real fact is that Larry has been very good to Naugatuck.
Larry resides in Prospect with his wife, Carla and four children; Jesse, Mike, Carly, and Samantha.
