Leaves are also accepted year round at the Recycling Center, open Thursday & Saturday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM in 30 gallon paper bags only, No Plastic Bags.

Along with leaves, grass clippings, pine needles, hay, flowers and other soft yard waste material can be placed in the paper bags when they are brought to the Center or left for curbside collection. They will be composted and turned into a usable and high quality garden product. Garbage, bottles and cans, or other trash contaminates the leaves and causes problems when they are composting.

Brush and branches, no larger than 5 to 6 inches in diameter, and between 2 feet and 6 feet long can be brought to the Recycling Center. Small pieces of trimmings, thorns, and vines can be put out for regular trash collection. This program is for small amounts of brush or branches, bushes, tree trimmings, storm damaged branches, etc. If you need a tree or a portion of a tree removed, or need to clear several trees off a lot, please arrange for that service with a private landscaping or tree company.
