Liquor Stores Burglarized, Suspects Sought: Naugatuck Police
Naugatuck police are asking for help with identifying two suspects after two liquor stores were burglarized within 10 minutes of each other.
NAUGATUCK, CT β Police are asking for help with identifying two suspects after two liquor stores were burglarized within 10 minutes of each other Saturday in Naugatuck.
Police said that around 6 a.m. on July 4, Town Line Fine Wine & Liquor, located on Prospect Street, and Peteβs Package Store on North Main Street were burglarized within 10 minutes of each other. Cigarettes and liquor were stolen from the stores, according to police.
βThe motor vehicle involved is believed to be a newer model blue Kia Optima,β police wrote in a post on Facebook. βThe two suspects were concealed with gloves and facial masks, however, at least one suspect can be described as possibly Caucasian and wearing thick framed glasses.β
