Lisa Lachance Named Principal of City Hill Middle School

The Naugatuck Public Schools will welcome Lisa Lachance as the new principal of City Hill Middle School.
Ms. Lachance will be taking over the role from Eileen Mezzo, who is moving up to the high school where she will serve as assistant principal.
The educator will be returning to City Hill, where she worked as an assistant principal from 2013-17. She has led Andrew Avenue Elementary as its principal since 2019. Under her leadership, Andrew Avenue has been named as a National Blue Ribbon School and recently identified as a School of Distinction in Connecticut.

Ms. Lachance communicates and maintains high expectations for all students while supporting their emotional well-being. She will inspire students to grow academically, socially and emotionally. Ms. Lachance partners with families to foster a sense of community and belonging in the school.Before becoming principal of Andrew Avenue, Ms. Lachance worked as coordinator of pupil services for Naugatuck Schools.
Ms. LaChance ensures the students are engaged and challenged to meet and exceed grade level standards. See less
