Local Performers Will Gather to Show Solidarity Through Song
Seven Angels Theatre is proud to host "Songs of Solidarity", an evening of performances by members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community

Waterbury - Seven Angels Theatre is proud to host “Songs of Solidarity”, an evening of performances by members and allies of the LGBTQIA+ community benefitting the Colorado Healing Fund and those impacted by the hate-motivated shooting at Club Q in Colorado Springs. The benefit concert will take place on the evening of Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 7:00-9:00 PM.

Activist Leah Juliett is the organizer of the benefit in partnership with Seven Angels Theatre and the CTGLC Foundation. Juliett will host the evening, which will feature a variety of performances from talent across the Northeast, including Jimmy Donohue, Eric Gomez, Elena Conn, Jessica Pescosolido, Anthony DeLuco, Jack Saleeby, Brían Nguyen, Carrie Ashton, Eric Beltrami, and more to be announced.
Local leaders in attendance include representatives from CT Against Gun Violence, Triangle Community Center, and West Hartford Pride. In addition to performances, the evening will feature conversations with LGBTQIA+ leaders and a silent auction with proceeds benefitting Club Q.
“In the last year, we’ve seen an unprecedented uptick in hate-motivated attacks against the LGBTQIA+ community. Now more than ever, it’s critical to show our support and solidarity with all those who have experienced homophobia, transphobia, racism, and violence –– and come together as a community to build a better world,” said Leah Juliett.
