Long-Time Top Naugatuck Police Official Departing: Report
He'll be leaving for the same job in another town.

NAUGATUCK, CT β Naugatuck Police Deputy Chief Joshua Bernegger, who is a 22-year member of the department, is taking the same job in Watertown, the Republican-American reports. His first day on the new job is March 18.
He told the Rep-Am that his time in Naugatuck has been special and one he'll never forget. He currently earns $110,860 in Naugatuck and will receive $106,864.
