Malta House of Care, Inc. (MHC) is a mobile medical clinic that has been providing high-quality, compassionate, free primary health care to thousands of uninsured adults in Greater Hartford since 2006. The Clinic operates with a small paid staff and a group of approximately fifty
dedicated medical volunteers. The Clinic is supported 100% by philanthropy; the Malta House of Care Foundation partners closely with the Clinic to raise the funds needed for its operation and to establish and oversee long -term policies. Malta House of Care seeks a full time, experienced Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN) in Primary Care and/or Family Medicine.
Responsibilities will include; providing direct patient care in our mobile van or office, with a typical patient load of 7-12 patients per clinic session. At times, some sessions are in the Malta Offices in the morning prior to going out to the clinic sites.
