Man Accused Of Assaulting Woman: Naugatuck Police

NAUGATUCK, CT — A New Haven man, Roderick Manuel, 24, of Austin Street is charged with third-degree assault, third-degree strangulation and disorderly conduct, Naugatuck Police said.

On Feb. 16, Manuel was arrested on a warrant, police said. The warrant was from an incident where the accused was involved in a physical domestic with the victim where the accused also held the victim against her will, police said.

He was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
