Man Accused of Impersonating a Naugatuck Police Officer
Police say the man was pulling over cars with red and blue flashing lights on his vehicle.

Not a smart move, allegedly speaking of course.
Naugatuck police say Thomas Bouchard, 42, of Carter Road in Thomaston, was impersonating a police officer and pulling over vehicles in Naugatuck.
Police said at 10 a.m. Friday a police officer observed Bouchard travelling in the intersection of Old Waterbury Turnpike and Sheriden Road.

The accused’s vehicle was displaying red and blue flashing lights and had pulled over several vehicles in the area, police said.
The real police officer conducted a motor vehicle investigation and Bouchard was charged with impersonation of a police officer. He was released on $5,000 bond and is due to appear in Superior Court, Waterbury on October 22.
