Man Accused Of 'Threatening Children': Naugatuck Police
Police said the accused was released on a $20,000 bond.
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck man, Timothy James Cumberledge, 54, of Millville Avenue is accused of "threatening children with a weapon," police said in a news release.
At 4:50 p.m. on July 17 police responded to the area of Legion Field on the report of a "man threatening children with a weapon," police said.
"Officers confiscated 2 knives and 1 fake gun (BB Gun) from the accused," police said.

He is charged with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree threatening and illegal use of a facsimile firearm.
He was released after posting a $20,000 bond and is given a court date of Aug. 26.
