Man Accused Of Threatening People With A Shovel: Naugatuck PD
The accused was initially held in lieu of a $10,000 bond, police said.
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck man, Zdzislaw Mycek, 71, of School Street, is accused of threatening people with a shovel and he was initially held in lieu of a $10,000 bond, police said.
At 4:30 p.m. on April 19, police responded to a domestic dispute. "It was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victims that escalated," police said in a summary of the incident. "The incident became physical when, according to the victim, the accused was swinging a shovel saying he was going to kill everyone in the home. The accused was restrained by family members and later arrested by officers."
Mycek is charged with second-degree assault, risk of injury to a child, second-degree breach of peace, and second-degree threatening.
