Man Armed with Brass Knuckles, Knife Tries to Collect Debt in Naugatuck: Report

The man also allegedly threatened to sick his dog on the victim.

William Kollar, 52, of New Hartford arrived at a Morning Mist Road house on Sunday allegedly armed with brass knuckles and a knife looking to collect on a debt.

Kollar, who is wanted in Florida, appeared intoxicated and when the victim opened the door the man also threatened to sick his dog on the man as well, the Republican-American reports.

The victim, who was not the man who allegedly owed Kollar money, was able to close the door on Kollar, police said.

Kollar attempted to kick in the door, but fled before police arrived, but was caught nearby, the Rep-Am reports.

Kollar is charged with assault, burglary and threatening and was held on a $50,000 bond.
