Man Arrested Twice In Less Than 8 Hours: Naugatuck Police

The accused was released on a $25,000 bond, police say.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A Massachusetts man, Michael Gregory Timmons, 41, was arrested twice within an eight hour period after police say he is accused of violating the conditions of his release, police said.

Naugatuck Police say at 10 p.m. on Nov. 15, officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute. It was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, Timmons held the victim down on the bed with force and kicked down a door, police said.

Then at 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 16, police responded to the victim's home because Timmons is accused of sending text messages to the victim after being arrested just hours earlier, police said.

Timmons is charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree violation of conditions of release.

He was released after posting a $25,000 bond.
