Man Assaults Victim At Bar: Naugatuck Police
The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries sustained during the assault, police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Derby man is accused of assaulting a bar patron, Naugatuck police said. On Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. officers responded to Dee Men's Bar for an assault between patrons, police said.
During an argument the victim was pushed to the floor, police said. Jonathan Murren, 27, of Lakeview Terrace in Derby allegedly kicked the victim in the head and face while he was laying on the floor, police said. The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries, police said.
Murren is charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was released on a $5,000 bond.
