Man Broke Into Several Vehicles: Naugatuck Police
The accused is being held in lieu of bond.

NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck man is accused of breaking into vehicles in the Borough, police said. At 11:26 p.m. on Friday, Naugatuck Police responded to Horton Hill Road to investigate a complaint of a suspicious person.
The officers eventually located Ian Place, 19, of Bluebird Drive, and were able to identify him through witnesses as being responsible for breaking into vehicles in the area, police said. During the course of the investigation officers recovered a steak knife from the accusedβs person, police said.
Furthermore, property that is believed to have been taken from the vehicles was also recovered from Place, police said. The accused is currently being held on a $15,000 bond pending his appearance at Waterbury Court on Monday. His charges include first-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and carrying a dangerous weapon.
