Man Chokes Victim, Held On $25K Bond: Naugatuck Police

The accused is charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and second-degree reckless endangerment.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A Waterbury man, Luis Vicente, 62, of James Street is accused of choking the victim as part of a domestic dispute, Naugatuck police said.

At 9:30 a.m. on April 30 police were called to a local residence.

"It was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused choked the victim," police said.

The accused was held in lieu of a $25,000 bond and is charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and second-degree reckless endangerment.
