Man Closes Victim's Hand In Dresser Drawer: Naugatuck Police

The accused was given a $10,000 bond, police say.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A Naugatuck man, Desean Maurice McBride, 28, of High Street is accused of being involved in a physical altercation with a woman, police said. He was initially held in lieu of a $10,000 bond.

At 12:13 a.m. on Nov. 4, officers responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute. It was discovered through the investigation that the accused became involved in an argument with the

victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, McBride closed the victim's hand in a dresser drawer and also pushed her head back forcefully, police said in a news release.

McBride is charged with disorderly conduct, risk of injury to a child and second-degree unlawful restraint.
