Man Doing Donuts In Naugatuck Charged, Video Released: PD
A man accused of doing donuts at an intersection in Naugatuck and fleeing from officers was charged with reckless driving, police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT β A man accused of doing donuts at an intersection in Naugatuck and fleeing from officers was charged with reckless driving Tuesday afternoon, police said.
In a news release, police said officers were called to St Michael's Episcopal Church on Church Street around 1:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a vehicle doing donuts in the parking lot.
When officers found the car they tried to stop it, however the driver fled the area. The vehicle was later found doing donuts at the intersection of Church Street and Maple Street before fleeing the area again, according to police.

The car later stopped in the parking lot of St. Michael's again, where officers tactically approached the vehicle and established a dialogue with the driver before arresting him, police said. A video of the pursuit and arrest was posted to the department's Facebook page.
Jahsun Greer, 27, of Middletown, N.Y., was charged with reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit, first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a $5,000 bond and taken to a hospital for medical evaluation, according to police.
