The Police Department responded to a call in its own lobby.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck man is accused of fighting with police officers while at police headquarters, police said.

At 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday police officers were informed of an intoxicated person in the lobby area, police said in a report.

Dispatchers said the accused was causing a scene in the lobby of the department by yelling obscenities and using inappropriate language after being asked to wait for an officer, police said.
