Man Fires Several Gunshots into a Naugatuck Home: Police
Police say the accused was held on a $1 million bond. A child, 8, was home at the time of the incident. BREAKING

NAUGATUCK, CT — A man is accused of firing several gunshots into a house in Naugatuck as part of a domestic dispute, police said.
Police Lt. Bryan Cammarata said in a statement that officers responded to 527 Rubber Avenue on a report of gunshots from the residence.
It was determined that a domestic dispute had occurred at the residence in which the accused, Joselito Santiago, 26, who does not reside at the residence where this incident occurred, attempted to break into the home, police said.

The subject attempted to smash through a door at the home and then fired several shots at the residence before fleeing, police said.
No one inside the residence was injured during the incident however there were several occupants in the residence at the time this occurred including an 8 year-old minor child, police said.

The accused was located a short time later in Waterbury by Waterbury Police and was taken into custody, police said. The accused was held on a $1 million bond and is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior court today.
