Man Found Inside Naugatuck House While Children Were Home: Police
Police said the man was found inside the house by the owner and is accused of jumping fences in neighbors' backyards while trying to escape.

NAUGATUCK, CT β Police said children were home when a man entered a Naugatuck house before being discovered by the homeowner.
According to an arrest log provided by police, Christian Taylor Manouse, 26, of Naugatuck, was found inside a Rough Wing Road house when the owner returned home Tuesday around 2 p.m.
An adult child and three children under the age of 15 were inside the house at the time Manouse entered the home, according to police.

Manouse fled from the house when the owner confronted him and is accused of jumping fences in neighbors' backyards while trying to escape, police said.
Officers eventually caught Manouse in the area of Horton Hill Road. He was charged with third-degree risk of injury to a child, second-degree burglary and third-degree criminal trespass.

He was released to the hospital on a $25,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court next month, police said.
