Man Held On $100,000 Bond For Probation Violation: Naugatuck PD

The accused had an active Violation of Probation (V.O.P.) warrant and was arrested, police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A New York man is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond for allegedly violating his probation, police said. On Feb. 25, Johvanny Herrera, 43, of Huntington, NY was brought to the Naugatuck Police Department by state probation officers.

The accused had an active Violation of Probation (V.O.P.) warrant and was arrested on the charge of Violation of Probation, police said. The accused was processed and held on a court set $100,000 bond, police said.

According to online court records, Herrera in 2012 pleaded guilty to a sexual assault charge and was sentenced to eight years in jail, suspended after one year and 10 years of probation.
