Police located Lance quickly and he was arrested. "Due to officers’ quick and decisive action he was disarmed and taken into custody. The pistol was found to be a look-alike/replica BB handgun," police said.

"We remind the public that there is no amount of training that allow a police officer to differentiate between these dangerous look-alike BB guns and a real handgun. These weapons have no place when being used in conjunction with criminal behavior. We commend Officer Connor Faticoni and Sergeant Nick Kehoss for bringing this incident to a peaceful resolution," Naugatuck Police said.
