Man Shoots Paint Balls At Victim While At Work: Naugatuck Police

Police said they responded to an assault between several adult males.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A Waterbury man, Derek St. Hilaire, 19, of Congress Avenue is accused of causing a disturbance in the work place which involved shooting paint balls at an employee, police said.

On Oct. 4 at 10:47 p.m. police responded to Beacon Brook Health Center located at 89 Weid Drive for a report of an assault between several adult males, police said.

"During the investigation it was determined that the accused caused a disturbance in the work place involving paint balls being shot from a paint ball gun at another employee with threats," police said.

St. Hilaire is charged with second-degree threatening and breach of peace. He was released after posting a $500 bond.
