Man Steals Car, Crashes It: Naugatuck Police

The accused is being held in lieu of a $130,000 bond.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” An Ansonia man is accused of stealing a vehicle and crashing it in Naugatuck, police said. On Dec. 18, Raymond Grullon, 33, of Main Street in Ansonia was arrested on a warrant for an accident reported on Oct. 6, police said.

Grullon struck a vehicle on Prospect Street and fled the scene, police said. Based on the investigation, it was found that the accused was operating a stolen motor vehicle, police said. The accused was processed and held on a $130,000 bond.

He is charged with first-degree larceny and evading responsibility.
