Man Steals Woman's Purse, She Gets It Back: Naugatuck Police

Police say the accused broke into the victim's house, pushed her and then stole her purse.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Naugatuck man is accused of breaking into the home of an ex-girlfriend, pushing her and stealing her purse, police said. The victim was able to get her purse back from the accused, police added.

Police said at 8 p.m. on March 17, David Prims, 63, last known address of Rubber Avenue, was charged on a warrant for a domestic disturbance on Feb. 10. Primus arrived at the victim's home, pushed her and took her purse, police said.

Police said she got it back from him while they were outside the home. Primus and the victim had dated previously, police said. Primus is charged with third-degree robbery, second-degree burglary, second-degree larceny, criminal violation of a protective order, and breach of peace.

He was given a $15,000 bond.
