Man Stole Items From Walmart Twice In Same Night: Naugatuck PD

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Torrington man is accused of shoplifting from Walmart with an accomplice twice on the same night, Naugatuck police say. On Feb. 26, Delmont Staples, 39, of Eagle Street was arrested on an active arrest warrant at Waterbury Superior Court, police said.

The warrant was from an incident where the accused stole multiple items from Walmart with an accomplice on June 25, 2018 on two occasions during the same evening, police said. The accused was processed and held to appear in Waterbury Superior Court.

He is charged with two counts of fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy.
