Man In Stolen Car Crashes, Serious Injuries Occur: Naugatuck PD
After the accident, the accused fled on foot while victims in the other car had "serious injuries laying in the roadway," police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT β An Ansonia man accused of stealing a car and being involved in an accident that left people in the other vehicle with serious injuries has been arrested and is being held in lieu of a $130,000 bond, police said.
On Dec. 18, the Naugatuck Police Department arrested Raymond Grullon, 33, of Main Street in Ansonia on an outstanding arrest warrant stemming from a serious injury motor vehicle collision that occurred on Oct. 6, 2017 on Prospect Street (Route 68), Naugatuck, police said.
The investigation was completed by the Naugatuck Valley Collision Investigation Team which consists of officers from the towns of Cheshire, Middlebury, Naugatuck, Plymouth, Watertown and Wolcott. Naugatuck Detective Sergeant Danielle Bailey was lead investigator.

The investigation included post-collision mechanical inspections, a technical reconstruction, analysis of DNA and other trace evidence at the State Forensicsβ Laboratory, and operator background investigations.
"It was determined that Grullon, who had just fled a traffic stop with State Police in a stolen vehicle collided with another vehicle that was attempting a left turn on to Locust Street. Grullon fled the scene on foot leaving the occupants of the other vehicle with serious injuries laying in the roadway," Naugatuck Police said in a news release.

Grullon was held on a $130,000 bond and is charged with evading responsibility and first-degree larceny.
