Man Strikes Victim, Violates Protective Order: Naugatuck Police

The accused was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” A Rubber Avenue man is accused of hitting a person in Naugatuck and also violating a protective order, police said. On July 13 at 9:14 a.m. police responded to a residence on a report of a domestic dispute.

It was discovered through the investigation that Augustine Ohenhen, 31, became involved in an argument with the victim that escalated and became physical when, according to the victim, the accused struck the victim several times, police said. The accused was in violation of a standing Protective Order by being at the residence and by threatening the victim, police said.

Ohenhen is charged with second-degree threatening, disorderly conduct and violation of a protective order. He was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
