Man Tries To Assault Homeowner: Naugatuck Police
Police say the accused showed up at the home over a "money issue."
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Morris man, Luc Cotnoir, 54, is accused of showing up at a local home and attempting to assault the homeowner, Naugatuck Police say. At 5:33 p.m. on June 27, police responded to a Sunset Drive house for a report of an "unwanted person at the residence attempting to assault the homeowner," police said.
Through the officer's investigation, it was determined that Cotnoir was on the property without permission, and attempted to punch the victim in the face over a money issue, police said. The accused was arrested and later released on a $500 bond. He is charged with simple trespass and second-degree breach of peace.
