Man Tries To Hide From Police: Naugatuck Police
He was in violation of a standing protective order by being at the home, police said.
NAUGATUCK, CT β A Naugatuck man, Daniel Akinsanya, 29, of Highland Avenue, is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond after he is accused of trying to hide from police due to a pending warrant, Naugatuck Police said.
At 7 a.m. on Feb. 4, police responded to a residence on a search warrant for a person evading capture on an outstanding domestic warrant, police said.
"It was discovered through the investigation that the accused was hiding out in a residence in Naugatuck," police said in a news release. "Officers gained entry into the residence and found the accused hiding in the residence. The accused was then taken into custody."

He was in violation of a standing protective order by being at the home, police said. He is charged with three counts of violation of a protective order.
