Man Tries To Run From Police: Naugatuck PD

The accused had three pending arrest warrants, police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT β€” Brian Small, 42, of Collis Street in West Haven, is accused of trying to run from Naugatuck Police due to several outstanding PRAWN arrest warrants, police said.

At 2:43 a.m. on Feb. 21, police responded to Oak Terrace housing complex located at 53 Conrad Street for a suspicious motor vehicle complaint, police said. The officer initiated a motor vehicle investigation and Small ran from the car due to having multiple PRAWN arrest warrants to evade capture, police said.

The accused was found hours later in the downtown area and taken into custody, police said.

He is charged with interfering with police, two counts of first-degree failure to appear and one count of second-degree failure to appear. He was held in lieu of bond.
