Man Violates Protective Order, Assaults Victim: Naugatuck Police
Police said a juvenile was placed in danger due to the events occuring at the time.

NAUGATUCK, CT β A man is accused of assaulting a victim and a juvenile was also present at the time, Naugatuck Police said.
On Nov. 27, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in which the victim advised that Carmen Cotto, 28, and the victim became involved in a verbal dispute that escalated to a physical dispute when the accused struck the victim, police said.
At the time of this incident a juvenile was present and placed in danger due to the events occuring at the time, police said. The accused was arrested and charged with violation of a protective order, risk of injury to a child, third-degree assault, and second-degree breach of peace.
