Maple Hill Distributes Chrome Books for Distance Learning

Thank you to photographer/school secretary Claudia Ciullo for sharing her photos on Thursday.

Naugatuck, CT - Ms. Cheryl Kane, Principal of Maple Hill Elementary School, personally greeted each car that drove up during the 4 1/2 hour Chromebook distribution outside the school.

Ms. Kane and a wonderful team of paraprofessionals and reading assistants braved the chilly and damp weather on Thursday distributed the Chromebooks to parents/guardians who lined up in the automobiles. Tomorrow is scheduled for grades 3 and 4 and make-ups.

Maple Hill posted this message after today's distribution: Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, and TEAMs parents: If you missed your Chromebook pickup time Thursday, please come Friday, March 20, between 12:15 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. to pick up your students' Chromebooks.

From Maple Hill staff: Chromebook Clarification - It's okay if you did not receive your child's actual Chromebook. He or she can still log on to the one you did receive. Students will log on as they usually do in class. Thanks!
