Medication Take Back Day [PHOTOS]
The Take Back Day on the Naugatuck Green on Saturday yielded a large collection of unused medications.
Naugatuck, CT - Would you notice if the unused medication in your cabinet was gone? Did you know that over 50% of all medication misuse begins with unsecured medications in the home?
Residents were able to bring any left over/unused/expired or otherwise unneeded medication to the Naugatuck Green on Saturday October 26 from 10-2pm.
Step Up Naugy and the Naugatuck Police Department collected medications and vaping devices. All dropped medications will be collected by the DEA for safe and appropriate disposal.
