A Message from StayWell Health
Dental Services will be limited to emergency care only. To be seen, you must have one or more of the conditions listed below.

Waterbury, CT - StayWell Health's main locations remain open and are offering emergency dental care. Please call first before heading to the location.

At this time our organization is able to refer for testing for Coronavirus only on a very limited basis. Since testing capacity is limited, we can only test the highest risk patients.
High-risk patients have symptoms and are defined as elderly, those with chronic medical conditions such as COPD, diabetes, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease, or definite exposure to a known case of Coronavirus.
Today, patients with mild cold or flu-like symptoms cannot be tested. We recognize that you would like to be tested for peace of mind, but we cannot and will not test you for the presence of Coronavirus. Please do not go to your doctor’s office or urgent care location for these reasons.
If your symptoms worsen to include fever for more than three days or shortness of breath/difficulty breathing and body aches, please call StayWell at 1-203-756-8021.

NOTICE TO DENTAL PATIENTS
As of Thursday, March 19th, and continuing until further notice, we must implement new restrictions on patient care. This is based on the latest advice we have received from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about the coronavirus outbreak.
Dental Services will be limited to emergency care only. To be seen, you must have one or more of these conditions:
• Severe toothache pain (not just a twinge)
• Swelling of your gums, face, or neck
• Bleeding in your mouth that does not stop
• Infection or a substantial risk of it
• Trauma (such as a broken tooth)
If you do require emergent dental care, please DO NOT come in without first calling the Dental Department at 203-756-8021 ext. 3812 to schedule an appointment or email us at dentalemergency@Staywellhealth.org

All other patients if you have an appointment for routine dental treatment (such as a checkup or cleaning or a filling), the appointment is canceled and we will work with you to reschedule it. We are now limiting treatment to urgent or emergency care only.
We apologize for the inconvenience. This decision was not made lightly, but is necessary in the interest of both patients’ and staff’s health.
We will continue to assess the situation daily and look forward to returning to our fully operating service provision as soon as we can.
