Mom Killed, 2 Children Injured In Waterbury Crash: Report
A mother was killed and her two young children were injured after a car crashed into a tree in Waterbury, according to a news report.
WATERBURY, CT — A mother was killed and her two young children were injured after a car crashed into a tree Tuesday morning on Jersey Street in Waterbury, WTNH News 8 reports.
The driver, identified as Jermiyiah Pegues, 23, of Waterbury, was critically injured in the crash and died a short time later at Waterbury Hospital, according to News 8. The two children, both three years old and passengers in the vehicle, sustained minor injuries.
The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, NBC Connecticut reported. Both children have been released from the hospital.
