Motorcyclist Injured In Waterbury Accident: Police

The victim remains hospitalized Monday following the weekend crash, according to police.

WATERBURY, CT — A motorcycle operator was critically injured Saturday evening in an accident on Thomaston Avenue, according to police.

Sgt. Joseph Morais said the one-vehicle accident happened around 8:35 p.m. in the vicinity of 1500 Thomaston Ave.

“A 46-year-old Waterbury man lost control of his motorcycle and fell off, resulting in injuries as he impacted the ground,” Morais said.

As of Monday, the man was listed in critical condition at a local area hospital, according to police.
