The 3rd Annual Greater Waterbury Puerto Rican Parade and Festival is this weekend. The Afro-Caribbean Cultural Center is proud to be the home for this fantastic event.
Friday September 5, 2025 - 6:00 pm in the evening is the Rivera Memorial Foundation Inc.'s A Toast to Education, Wine Tasting Fundraising events. Money goes to support the Rivera Memorial Foundation.
Saturday September 6, 2025:
10:00 am is the Hispanic Coalition of Greater Waterbury, Inc. 38th Annual Puerto Rican Mayor for the Day and Flag Raising on the front lawn of the Silas Bronson Library. Juan Miranda will be this year's honoree.
12:00 pm is the 3rd Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade - Kicks off from North Elm Street, down to East Main Street, around the Green and ends by Library Park.
2:00 pm 3rd Annual BoriFest kicks off and there will be over 40 food, art and information vendors present. With a family/youth zone going on inside the Silas Bronson Library. Festival ends around 7:30 pm.
The evening ends with the official all white after party at The Commissioners Cigar Lounge featuring an amazing musical act. There is a cost to get in however the evening will cap off a fantastic evening.
