Golden Years Theatre Company will present 9 TO 5 The Dolly Parton Musical through Sunday at Rotella Magnet School in Waterbury. All cast members are 60+. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7pm and Sundays at 2pm. The show is not appropriate for elementary school children. Because the show is double cast and the lead actors alternate performances, check with any cast member that you want to see perform on the dates that they go on.

*Capital Classics' 2026 Greater Hartford Shakespeare Festival with MEASURE FOR MEASURE (Thursday and Saturday at 7pm) and A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM (Friday and Sunday at 7pm) running in repertory ends on Aug. 2. Performances are staged on the lawn at the University of St. Joseph’s in West Hartford, with the performance moved indoors for inclement weather.

*Lake Compounce is holding auditions for their Phantom Fall Fest event on Friday and Sunday 6:30 - 9:30 pm. These two audition dates will be scare actor focused. Sign in begins at 6:00pm. You must apply online to be registered for an audition date. An added date of 8/7 at 7:30pm will focus on daytime performers for the first hour (6:30pm) and scare actors for the second hour (7:30pm.)
