Students and educators from across Connecticut will gather at Shubert Theatre in New Haven for the 8th annual Stephen Sondheim Awards. Modeled after Broadway’s Tony Awards, the Sondheim Awards recognizes excellence in high school musical theater.

The program’s mission is to emphasize the importance of arts education by celebrating and supporting student achievement in high school musical theater. Awards will be presented in multiple categories.
