Naugatuck Announces Curbside Spring Leaf Collection Details

NAUGATUCK, CT — Curbside spring leaf collection will take place the week of April 24 in Naugatuck.

In a Facebook post, Naugatuck Public Works officials said leaf collection will take place on residents' normal trash pickup day.

All leaves must be in brown paper bags, and placed curbside. Grass clippings, pine needles, hay, flowers and other soft yard waste material can also be placed in brown paper bags, according to Naugatuck Public Works.

Bagged leaves and all other soft yard waste materials can also be brought to the Naugatuck Transfer Station for no charge. They are open Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
