Naugatuck BOE Names Preschool Coordinator

Naugatuck, CT - At a Naugatuck Board of Education Special Meeting held vitually on Thursday evening, the board appointed a new Coordinator of the Early Childhood Center at Central Avenue. The appointment was a result of matters emanating from the executive sessions held prior to the public meeting.

Meagan Rolla, formerly the Head Counselor for the district, was named to the position by a unanimous vote. Ms. Rolla replaces Kristine Murphy-Salvucci, who will take on the role of the principal of Salem School in July.

Ms. Rolla will take on her new role on July 1. Congratulations to this dedicated educator on her new position.

The public was allowed to speak during a virtual public comment by typing in their name and address and raising their virtual hand, but I chose to email Ms. Rolla my congratulations during the meeting and received an immediate response.
