NAUGATUCK, CT β Naugatuck's election season is heating and there are plenty of contested races with candidates eager to get their name on the ballot for the city's municipal election. One of those contested races is the race for the Board of Mayor and Burgesses.

The single most pressing issue facing our town/district is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it. *
Taxes is always the main issue, the goal is to build the grand list to reduce the tax burden. Right now we have a lot of irons in the fire that are extremely important to build the grand list
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post? *
Not sure there are critical issues between myself and other candidates, my resume speaks for itself in the amount of work I have done over the last 30 years. 29 different sub-committees that have made differences in the Borough.

Take a common sense approach to government, I'm fair, honest, consistent and independent thinker on all issues
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Chairman of the Naugatuck Standing Building committee, Chairman of the Naugatuck HS, $81 million renovation project (under budget and on time), Chairman of the 5 year capital committee (all major projects Town and Board of Education), Member of the Long Term Building committee, Chairman renewable energy committee(solar and LED light projects)

Other than politics, have 3 beautiful grand kids, Manage and coach Senior Babe Ruth program 23 years, President of the Housatonic Valley Senior Babe Ruth league.
