Family in government: no
The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:
Returning control of our schools to the parents who entrust us to teach their children I intend to work with the other board members and parents of Naugatuck leading a “Back to Basics” approach to policies and education. Going forward I commit keeping out school open, working with families to increase attendance and preparing students for college or the workforce respectively. I am proactive, transparent and academically focused on Math, Literacy, Science, and and History.
Critical differences between me and my opponents:
I will spend time listening to parents and engage with them offering policies that directly respond to their concerns by giving parents back the voice to make decisions for their children. I know how to pivot and adjust course when results don’t match expectations. I’m positivity, grounded in reality, and and driven to lead our children into the future.
Accomplishments:
I am an accomplished entrepreneur, investor, and sales professional with a fifteen-year history of consistently rescuing unprofitable businesses, turning them profitable in a short period of time while developing proven leaders and strong teams for continued success. I have crafted business plans and maintained financials that resulted in commercial capital funding and private investments. I have created proposals securing state and federal grants. I specialize in building relationships, inspiring hard work, dedication, and and building community involvement. I have written standards adopted nationwide by a Fortune 500 company for training and development.
Other issues:
CT's state Constitution gives Board of Educations the final word on education in their district. That means voters, taxpayers and parents are the people the BOE should be listening to. I stand for parents' voice, parents' choice, transparency, and proactiveness and academic focus.
What else would you like voters to know about you?
I’m a father first and my daughter attends kindergarten in our district. It is for her and all of our children that I felt the call to serve the community. I am running to be a representative of Naugatuck. When casting my vote on policy I will remember I work for voters in Naugatuck and not Hartford or Washington D.C.
Preparing students for the workforce and college to be contributing positive members of the community is what drives my passion and dedication.
