Naugatuck Fire Dept. Mourns the Loss of Capt. DeFord
Capt. DeFord was an enormous part of the training of many of our members while he was an instructor at the Connecticut Fire Academy.
Naugatuck, CT - Naugatuck Professional Firefighter IAFF Local 1219 extends its sympathies to the friends, family, and Fire Service family of Captain Bill DeFord who passed away after a courageous battle against cancer.
Captain DeFord was an enormous part of the training of many of our members while he was an instructor at the Connecticut Fire Academy. His knowledge and passion will be missed throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts.
