Naugatuck Fire Experiencing Issues With Non-Emergency Lines
The issue does not affect the department's emergency lines or 911, according to fire officials.
NAUGATUCK, CT — Fire officials reported an issue with the department's non-emergency phone lines Wednesday, however emergency lines are not affected.
In a Facebook post around 10:30 a.m., fire officials said the issue involves the department's non-emergency lines not ringing in the station, however callers will still hear a ring tone.
If the caller dials the non-emergency line again however, the call will go through, according to fire officials.

The affected non-emergency phone numbers are: 720-7080, 7081, 7082, 7083, 7084 and 7085.
"If you call and no one answers, hang up and try again," fire officials said on Facebook.

Officials emphasized the issue does not affect the department's emergency lines at 729-2233 and 729-2234, or 911. They also noted Frontier is currently working to solve the issue.
