Naugatuck Gas Station to Get New Look

Plans to renovate the gas station will proceed once approved by the Zoning Commission.

Cumberland Farms plans to renovate its gas station and convenience store in the Union City section of the borough with a $2.5 million replacement, the Republican-American reports.

According to the paper, the new structure will be 4,500 square feet and will feature a large patron area, modern gas pumps and 16 additional parking spaces.

The gas station and convenience store will likely be replaced between February and July if approved by the Zoning Commission, which will look at the application next month, the paper reports. Cumberland Farms plans on purchasing the residential property adjacent to the gas station for the project and will seek a zone change for the property to be commercial.
